Founded in the heyday of Haute couture in 1957, it is still the benchmark in the fashion world. The first Guy Laroche jewelry collection appeared at the end of the 20th century. He is one of the few couturiers to have earned worldwide recognition. He received the Italian Oscar for Contributing to Fashion from a well-known jury of fashion journalists.

Guy Laroche died in 1989 at the age of 66.
