Established in 1979 Michael’s Creative Jewelry, Inc. manufactured costume jewelry for twenty years. The president of the company was Michael J. Boillot. Initially it was a small design studio in Mesa Arizona. According to US patent and trademark office, MCJ trademark on manufacture of fine jewelry was cancelled in 1998. However, the company of Michael J. Boillot is still active.
The company’s craftsmen created the jewelry by hand using metal alloys and gold plating, as well as beautiful enamels, crystals, rhinestones and artificial pearls. The design and style of the jewelry, mainly brooches and earrings, vary from animalistic to high fashion motifs. The marking on the back of the jewelry includes the MCJ with the copyright symbol.
Currently based in Phoenix, a family owned business Michael’s Creative Jewelry, Inc. creates original designs using precious metals and gemstones. A recipient of numerous design awards, Michael J. Boillot specializes in custom-design jewelry.
