Signed Diana vintage costume jewelry (1948-1960s)
Launched in 1948 in Newark, New Jersey, Diana was one of several jewelry trademarks owned by Krementz & Company, Inc (1886 – 1997). Although Krementz history began in 1886 when five men started jewelry business, but it was in 1922 that George Krementz and Julius Lebkeucher joined their families into Krementz & Co.
Diana jewelry line includes Victorian and classic designs, rose and plant motifs, so popular in 1930-50s, filigree details, the use of high quality crystals, cubic zirconia, and natural gems. Made of 10-18K gold plated sterling silver, Diana fine jewelry pieces are increasingly rare and highly collectible.
