The brand Cellini appeared more than a hundred years ago, founded in 1914 as The Cellini Shop. Succeeded by Cellini Craft in 1934, early Cellini products, especially those done by the Mulholland brothers, were very accomplished and mainly Scandinavian in design. In 1957 the Randahl Company purchased Cellini Craft, partly to acquire its metalsmiths. Traditionally, they produced Argental items. However, in 1965 Randahl died, and the company was immediately sold to Reed & Barton.
