It would be wonderful if fashion designers from around the world have learned to take inspiration from the nature. This idea has come to Siberian fashion designer Khudyakova. She creates stunning collages for the project Fashion & Nature, in which Liliya is looking for parallels between contemporary designers’ dresses and nature. These are really fashionable masterpieces of natural symbiosis of beauty and fashion.
Autumn brought a merry collage of many colors into our streets, which became golden and red. The trees branches painted with the autumnal hue are visible through the window panes. Nature shows us a great variety of different shades. We can observe colorful reality in the woods and meadows. The fields are a riot of color. The brightness and sweet scent of flowers attract the insects in nature.

Founded in 1993 by Dutch designers Viktor Horsting (1969) and Rolf Snoeren (1969), Viktor & Rolf fashion house has its own unique style.
Amsterdam-based fashion house presented a rather unusual collection of haute couture at Fashion Week in Paris spring-summer 2015. According tp the designers, they absolutely didn’t worry about using these things in everyday life.
Whether we can wear these high fashion things or not – it is an opportunity to realize their creative impulses. This time the brand Viktor & Rolf showed on the catwalk their original vision of the village. In particular, a wreath of ears and straw hats of immense size complement the same vast A-line dresses. Noteworthy, the designers dedicated their collection to their compatriot, the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh.

Undoubtedly, richness of nature and a variety of stones and minerals amaze us. Among which is a little-known but very interesting stone – Eudialyte. This rare mineral combines the reliability of granite, purple of sunset and gold of underground mines. It derives its name from the Greek phrase meaning “well decomposable”. Sami, the local inhabitants of the Kola Peninsula (the far northwest of Russia) call Eudialyte “Sami blood”.

The origin of the name relates to the ancient Norse legend, described by Academician Fersman in his book “Memories of a rock.” In the Sami folklore there is a legend about the battle of Sami with the Swedish soldiers. As a result of the fight on the tundra was sprayed the blood of Sami soldiers killed in the battle. Drops of blood turned into a beautiful stone Eudialyte.

She loves to paint, sew, write poetry, and applications of paper. Tyurina participated in the 6th International Exhibition in Moscow “Beading Design 2012” where her miniature brooches won in the category “Jewellery”.
According to the artist, she always starts embroidering brooch from eyes, and when they “look at you” then it is a half of success. A lot of pleasure she gets from the finished work and the reactions of people who see it and wear.

Dresses with threads of precious metals are very heavy, taking into account the mantle plume of any coronation dress. It’s hard even to imagine how difficult it was to wear them. Nevertheless, almost all the coronation gowns include fabric with metallic threads and were decorated with real gold and silver embroidery.
In the XX century, there were two periods when the metallic threads and Lurex were very much in fashion. First – in the late 60’s and early 70’s, second – in the late 80-early 90’s. Silver and gold, glitter and lurex were periodically in and out of fashion, and now there is a return of interest in metallic texture in a suit, shoes and accessories.
