The history of American jewelry brand BSK lasted for three decades, from 1948 until the early 1980s. New York based company received name from the initials of the founders: Benny Steinberg, Slovitt and Kaslo. Traditionally, BSK jewelers used colored enamel, Aurora Borealis rhinestone, and imitation of pearls. They made most of the products in the technique of brushing (causing small cuts on the metal surface). Due to low prices, decorations of BSK enjoyed incredible popularity in postwar America. Currently BSK ornaments are collectible.
