Las Vegas launched an international contest “Miss Universe 2015”. On Wednesday, 16 December, the participants passed the preliminary stage of the competition, during which told about themselves, defiled on the catwalk in swimsuits and evening gowns. 80 women took part in the competition. 15 girls who will receive maximum points for the first rounds of the show, will take part in the final on 20 December. The next competition will be held in January 2016 in Budapest.
The National Costume contest made the audience feel like they are watching a parade or a fashion show, some have big wings like Victoria’s Secret fashion show. For making folk costumes historical and eye-catching, designers used lots of sparkling crystals, gems, gold embroidery, jewelry, and feathers.
Russian folklore design and the feathers on the skirt create a firebird. Firebird is a common figure in folklore. It’s a beautiful delicate dress, great work of a designer.
Female version of Captain American + VS wings + golden girl with American beauty. Mainly because the U.S. doesn’t have a single or uniform national culture unlike India, Japan, or Vietnam. The wings represent the wings of the American Bald Eagle and freedom, and super hero look is how the nation see’s itself.
