The history of L. Razza brand began in Providence, Rhode Island, founded in the early 1960s by American designer of Italian origin Luca Razza (1926-2021). During his long life, Razza collaborated with many jewelry companies and jewelers of that time. Born in Providence, he lived all his life in Rhode Island, and died in 1921 at the age of 94. He was World War II Navy Veteran.
The designer became famous thanks to his jewelry line “Zodiac Signs”. Such series of animal head (elephants, lions, owls) pieces repeatedly appeared in glossy editions of that time. In addition, the company became known for developing a type of plastic that amazingly imitated ivory.
Traditionally, the priority was large figure decorations with animals, angels and initials. And now the excellent products marked Razza very much appreciated in the catalogs, appear in fashion blogs with an enviable constancy.
