Cini has existed since 1922 to the present. Guglielmo Cini, an Italian jeweler from Florence, created a small family-owned firm, Сini Jewerly Company, in 1922. The company was in Boston until 1957, before moving to Laguna Beach in California.
In 1979, Guglielmo Cini died, but his wife, along with partner Felipe Mendoza, continued the business. Felipe Mendoza was a student of Guglielmo Cini and has been running his business for 45 years. Traditionally, Guglielmo Cini worked with silver and gold. Thanks to the talent of the designer, his jewelry has always been very appreciated. In the 1950s and 60s, he began to use artificial stones in his jewelry.
Cini is currently located in California and managed by his granddaughters. Guglielmo Cini once said: “In the world of mass production, everyone wants to have something for the soul.” Indeed, we all get tired of the standard, and vintage jewelery created by Ciner – products with character.
