Noteworthy, Stannard started his own line after working for Kenneth Jay Lane in the 60’s. His solo career began in 1972 and he gained steam when he was mentioned in Vogue. After that he became known for his designs being used in Broadway plays, TV shows such as Dynasty and being worn by the rich and famous. He passed in 2006 and his designs have become highly sought after.
Arlene Dahl left Hollywood in 1959 and made a career as a successful business woman: was the founder of a network of shops selling cosmetics and expensive lingerie.
