Born 7 May 1989 in Brazil, Gabriela moved to Sao Paulo to start a modelling career at the age of 17. In 2010, she traveled to India to take part in the Fashion Week. After the show, her face has become recognizable. She appeared on the covers of glossy magazines, and was noticed by MTV and film producers. Gabriela Bertante became a leading actress in Bollywood comedy film “Balwinder Singh Famous Ho Gaya”, directed by Sunil Agnihotri.
The movie appeared on screens September 19, 2014. Gabriela Bertante has appeared in two more Bollywood films (Billa 2, 2012 and Bahubali: The Beginning, 2015) in all the splendor of Indian wedding dress – sari and exquisite jewellery: the main symbol of a bride – bindi (decoration of the gemstones on the forehead), large necklaces, massive rings and earrings, and of course, foot bracelets, called Payal.

Each region of the country abounds with a variety of wedding gowns to local features and their rituals. Traditional Indian wedding lasts about three days and results in amounts sometimes exceeding US $ 100 000.

Still popular with modern Indian brides, many of them like to try a more modern attire or even innovative design. Traditional saris, of course, remain, but now they have improved modern design and patterns. They enjoy a wide choice of colors and patterns for embroidery. Geometric shapes and abstract figures, too, have a place to be on a wedding dress. In general, the Indian wedding fashion evolves and embraces more modern trends.

Accessories: modern bride’s attire – a skillful mix of elegant stylish accessories. The traditional heavy gold jewellery replaced with the elegant gold jewelry. Diamonds, rubies and other precious stones in white gold or platinum has become very popular among brides. Indian wedding dresses are all complemented with interesting fashion accessories: sequined small bags or even elegant tiaras. Shoes do not just match the wedding saris in color, but also in harmony with embroidery and even contain gems.
