The internationally renowned company, Avon began its history in 1886. At first, it represented the perfume, and for the first time in history gave women the opportunity to earn money by doing what they like. Consultants offered cosmetics and perfumes, and in 1963 there was a jewelry as a free gift to purchase. And in 1970, after numerous requests of clients, Avon has launched a line of its own products – Avon jewellery. The very first collection of the company was called The Precious Pretenders. Large advertising campaign in America has made these ornaments very popular with women. Jewellery pieces were characterized by brilliant cut stone, fancy filigree appearance, covered with gold leaf, and looked very expensive and exquisite. And a few years later Avon jewellery had a strong position among the most popular manufacturers of jewelry.
Collectors of vintage costume jewelry appreciate products that were released in the 1970s. With Avon worked famous brands: Ungaro and Swarovski, Centennial, Trifari and WN. In the 1990s, Hollywood film star, Elizabeth Taylor herself released a few lines of jewelry with her name, together with the designers of the company.
Even today, Avon jewelry continues to delight women for their quality and affordable prices.
The highlight of the collection of Avon – luxury suites, which include bracelet, ear clips, necklaces. And it is a good luck – to buy a complete set of the first lines.
