Andrew Logan mirror glass jewellery
Famous modern British artist, sculptor and jewelry designer Andrew Logan creates amazing ornaments from glass. Each decoration is a miniature sculpture, made by hand from a multicolor mirror glass and semi-precious stones, set in resin. According to his ornaments, the favorite motifs of the designer are fauna, flora, planets, celebrities, fashion and gods.
Noteworthy, he is the author of the contest “Alternative Miss World” in London. All glossy magazines featured works by Logan, and Logan himself, because he is the ideal embodiment of the “esthetic” bohemia of the late twentieth century.
Born in Oxford in 1945, he has worked in various media – sculpture, stage design, festivals, interior and jewelry design. An influential artist of international stature, his exhibitions took place across the globe, from Los Angeles (USA) and Monterrey (Mexico), to St Petersburg and Moscow.
His works are in the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the National Portrait Gallery in London. Among his clients are Elton John, Mother Queen, Derek Jarman, U2 group, Brian Eno, Julia Christie, Durand Durand and many other contemporaries.
