War and Peace jewelry collection
War and Peace – inspired by the immortal Russian literature, history and cinema collection created by the jewelry designer Evgenia Linovich. The idea of the collection – everything in life is relative, and memories of war make us appreciate the fragile peace we live in. I like the theme of heraldry in jewelry. In this collection, I liked the color image, mainly due to the model. It is obvious that the collection was created on the Western perception of Russia.
Journalist by education, Evgenia Linovich has always been inspired by traditional craftsmanship and all forms of art. She was creating photographs, furniture, dresses and costume jewellery. Jewellery making started off as a hobby, but then turned into a career. In 2012, she created Masterpeace jewellery and accessories brand. The Masterpeace collection is an avant-garde reinvention of its nation’s noble heritage.
Earrings-Orders look shocking, but not more than jewelry with bones and skulls. Pearls in the form of sash – not a shock, but rather regret of not completed ideas. For the creating this stunning collection were used precious and semi-precious stones, lapis lazuli, malachite, amber and pearls, mink fur – luxury of XVIII-XIX centuries. During the creation of a collection was studied literature on heraldy, orders and medals, watched all film productions of “War and Peace”, on which worked talented costume designers.
Brooches in the form of orders – “must have” this season. Decorations similar to the Order used Coco Chanel, when she fell in love with Grand Prince Dmitry Romanov. Premium crosses of the Russian Empire, became a fashionable decoration for women. This season’s leading fashion houses handing awards – orders and medals. Silver brooch with multicolor crystals completely change your image, and your mood. Wearing jewelry is necessary not only on the lapel of jacket, but also a button on the top buttoned collar, as in the shows of Bottega Veneta and Givenchy.
Brooch-Order – is an exceptionally to-date view at a seemingly far from the fashion and carrying a very different meaning medals of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Nevertheless, one can hardly find a more harmonious addition to the modernized Empire style. Decorated with crystals and stones, made of metal and beads, Order-brooches in the Imperial style looks bold, even a bit cheeky, but always talk about the good taste of the owner.
